Di suatu pantai terdapat ikan, penyu, dan bangau.
- Ikan berada pada kedalaman 5 m. Ditulis -5.
- Penyu berada pada kedalaman 7 m. Ditulis -7.
- Bangau berada pada ketinggian 4 m. Ditulis 4.
Mari nyatakan pada garis bilangan bulat.
Tampak bahwa titik 4 terletak di sebelah kanan titik -5 dan titik -5 terletak di sebelah kanan titik -7. Ini berarti, 4 lebih dari -5 dan -5 lebih dari -7, ditulisnya 4 > -5 > -7.
Contoh:
1. Ayo, urutkan bilangan –23, 20, dan 12 mulai dari yang terkecil.
2. Ayo, urutkan bilangan 25, -46, dan -14 mulai dari yang terbesar.
